After the relative ease of making Infinate Conversation for Britfilm's 2007 competition, Waking Dream decided to set themselves a bigger challenge for the 2008 competition. The idea began with 2 films that would link together in some way. Working on the idea of coincidence and synchronicty, Jordan Morris took the first and wrote a film where two friends argue about coincidental events.
The film had been planned out using photo storyboards and the location was quickly setup to match the frames. The morning of the competiton was dedicated to Coincidence and the film was shot in 3 hours while the Synchronicty team rehearsed and worked on a third film, Serious Movie.
All three films were shortlisted and screened at the competiton and while some in attendance were annoyed Waking Dream had entered 3 films, all were seperate films made within the 24 hour time limit.
