Superpowers

We’ve dubbed 2012 The Year Of Waking Dream, and plan on producing more work than any year before and of a higher quality. With each short film we intend to learn new techniques in all aspects of filmmaking.

We wanted to start off the year with a relatively small and controlled film to get back into the swing of shooting, and so was born Superpowers, an absurdist comedy that meshes indie with FX filmmaking. It was shot in a single night and in true indie fashion, the weather forced an early departure of our cast and crew, and the shoot was completed with two men, a camera and a hot water bottle full of soup!

The script was partly improvised, which lead to some head scratching during editing and we suffered delays in post-production due to working around the shoot of our second film of the year but, all in all, we think it turned out pretty good.
